Abstract

Cet article s'intéresse aux stratégies de contestation par les salariés des plans de sauvegarde de l'emploi. En s'appuyant sur quatre monographies d'entreprise ayant mis en oeuvre un plan social, il met en exergue l'existence d'invariants dans ces stratégies. La construction d'un cadre d'analyse fondé sur les théories du don et de l'échange social permet de rendre intelligibles ces invariants, ainsi que les compromis négociés. Il distingue en particulier rhétoriques et logiques d'action de la direction et des salariés sous-tendues respectivement par une rationalité instrumentale et axiologique. Il permet ainsi de réintégrer le rôle des valeurs dans les motivations stratégiques des salariés lors d'une restructuration.
