Abstract

Cette recherche s'intéresse à un sujet encore peu étudié en marketing, et qui fait l'objet d'un intérêt croissant de la part des pouvoirs publics et des marques : la transmission intergénérationnelle du bien manger. A partir d'une étude quantitative menée auprès de 235 répondants, nous montrons que les grands-mères se représentent différemment des mères de famille un repas où les enfants ont bien mangé, et sont davantage investies que les mères dans les pratiques de transmission liées à la culture comme au plaisir et à la commensalité alimentaires ; nous identifions l'influence des représentations sociales et de certains facteurs individuels sur les pratiques de transmission familiales ; des recommandations permettant de tirer parti de ces différents leviers sont formulées pour les pouvoirs publics et les marques.
