Abstract

This communication shows how operationalizing the theory of Economies of Worth (Boltanski and Thevenot, 1991) to study how people judge the legitimacy of an action. This methodological approach would, in our view, be appropriate to the quantitative study of the relationship between judgments of the legitimacy of a situation, and commitments into action.
