Abstract

This article analyzes the effects of ethnicity in the ethnic telecommunications services. With a questionnaire, self-administered, a quantitative study has been done with a sample of 318 foreigners or ethnic minorities living in France, including 57 sub-Saharan African, Asian 50, 146 North African and 65 Caribbean. With the help of the tool of statistical dragging SmartPLS 2.0 M3, the results demonstrate the crucial role of "ethnicity" and "ethnic characteristics", as antecedents and determinants in the use of ethnic telecommunications services. Thus periods of geographic mobility, traditions ( religious holidays , national holidays, sports competitions , new year ... ), the " type of offer by sponsorship" ... include triggers that involve the use of telephone services by minorities ethnic of France.
