Abstract

Traditionnellement abordée au niveau stratégique de l'organisation, la tension exploration/exploitation, court terme/long terme, se retrouve dans le management opérationnel des activités et des hommes, y compris dans le processus d'innovation (Chanal & Mothe, 2005). Savall & Zardet (1987, 2004, 2009) mettent en évidence la difficile gestion des horizons temporels, à la fois dans le management des hommes et dans les activités. En effet, l'organisation est confrontée à deux types d'impératifs : celui de survivre à court terme et celui de se développer à moyen et long terme. Nous présentons en quoi le processus d'innovation socio-économique constitue une manière de concilier la dialectique entre l'exploitation et l'exploration dans le cadre d'un projet d'innovation.
