Abstract

La Chine a connu une année record en 2007 avec une croissance atteignant 11,4 %. Le PIB s'est installé depuis 2005 à un rythme supérieur à 10 %, tiré à la fois par le commerce extérieur qui engrange des excédents records et par une demande intérieure très dynamique. Pour de nombreuses raisons, 2008 sera une année test pour la croissance chinoise. Parmi les facteurs externes, la Chine devra faire face à l'envolée des prix du pétrole et des matières premières, à la glissade du dollar, au ralentissement marqué de l'économie américaine et à un risque de crise financière généralisée. En interne, la Chine connaît une accélération de l'inflation principalement imputable à l'explosion des prix alimentaires, aggravée par les intempéries de ce début d'année (...).
