Abstract

A partir d'une enquête par questionnaire auprès de 529 participants et 30 entretiens qualitatifs avec des candidats à une formation en entrepreneuriat, des étudiants en entrepreneuriat et des entrepreneurs de petites et moyennes entreprises, confronte les points de vue de trois groupes sociaux et leurs représentations de l'entrepreneur. Représentation sociale pour les premiers, représentation socioprofessionnelle pour les seconds, et représentation professionnelle pour les derniers, l'image de l'entrepreneur se construit à travers ces différents regards sociaux, avec en toile de fond la question de la légitimité et de la valeur perçue de l'entrepreneur pour la société dans son ensemble.
