Abstract

L'entreprise Feyel-Artzner est une PME familiale qui produit des foies gras et des spécialités fines d'oie et de canard selon des méthodes de fabrication artisanales. Localisée près de Strasbourg, la société constitue la plus ancienne maison française de foie gras en activité. Ses produits sont commercialisés sous deux marques : (1) la marque Feyel qui est vendue dans les circuits de la grande distribution et (2) la marque Artzner qui est principalement destinée à la restauration hors foyer et à l'exportation. En 2012, Feyel-Artzner réalise un chiffre d'affaires de 30 millions d'euros (+19 % par rapport à 2011) et emploie 147 salariés. Les activités d'exportation, qui représentent 30 % du chiffre d'affaires, constituent un levier de croissance prioritaire pour l'entreprise : les produits sont aujourd'hui vendus dans 45 pays. Réalisée en étroite collaboration avec la direction générale de Feyel-Artzner, cette étude de cas contient des informations détaillées sur l'entreprise Feyel-Artzner et son développement ainsi que sur les caractéristiques du marché du foie gras. Il est demandé aux apprenants d'analyser les orientations stratégiques et managériales choisies par cette PME familiale et de formuler des recommandations pour les années à venir.
