Abstract

La nécessité de modifier ou de compléter l'action publique en matière de transport apparaît dans les discours à différentes échelles, notamment au regard des problèmes environnemen­taux.Dans un contexte de complexité croissante où les acteurs et leurs interactions sont plus nombreux, où les politiques évoluent à la marge, appeler à des changements plus radicaux nécessite en amont des ré-interrogations. Promouvoir le transport durable impli­que notamment d'adapter l'action publique aux différents contextes. La question des déterminants des choix de transport, se situant au-delà de la sphère du transport stricto sensu, est donc essentielle pour envisager d'autres solutions politiques, et notamment des interventions plus en amont.
