Abstract

Alors même que le développement de réseaux interentreprises apparaît être une nécessité stratégique pour de nombreuses entreprises artisanales, très peu de chercheurs s'intéressent spécifiquement à ce thème. Cet article se propose donc d'élargir les connaissances sur les formes des réseaux en milieu artisanal, à partir d'une analyse systématique de leurs différentes dimensions et en introduisant l'influence du profil du dirigeant dans le design de ces réseaux. L'étude des réseaux dans lesquels sont insérées dix entreprises artisanales permet notamment d'identifier deux formes réticulaires distinctes et montre que le fait de s'engager dans l'une de ces deux formes est conditionné par le profil du dirigeant. Ce faisant, cet article met également en exergue que, contrairement à ce que de précédentes recherches laissaient entrevoir, certaines entreprises artisanales peuvent non seulement appartenir mais aussi constituer des réseaux interentreprises structurés et très formalisés, à l'instar de leurs homologues de plus grande taille.
