Abstract

Dans quelle mesure un coach peut-il être utile dans un contexte interculturel où coach et coachés ont une culture différente ? En appui sur le cadre théorique du constructivisme social, notre étude basée sur onze entretiens de coachs en situation interculturelle, montre la diversité des réponses apportées à cette question. La situation interculturelle requiert pour certains une posture spécifique, appuyée sur une labellisation, une définition et des outils particuliers. Pour d'autres, le geste de coaching est universel et ne nécessite pas d'adaptation particulière. Le développement de la réflexivité critique est une piste de formation suggérée afin d'associer construction sociale de la réalité et situation interculturelle.
