Abstract

Comment se crée la valeur des biens et services que nous consommons ? Par leur utilité avant tout, bien évidemment, mais pas seulement. Dans un monde désormais encombré de marchandises équivalentes et concurrentes, la valeur se crée de plus en plus à partir du " sens " accordé aux consommations, de l'expérience qu'elles permettent de vivre. Boire un café, passer une nuit dans un hôtel ou acheter une automobile... Ces actes simples peuvent-ils générer une expérience particulière, susceptible de capter les choix de consommateurs sur-sollicités ? La réponse des auteurs est positive. C'est le but de cet ouvrage, à partir des avancées les plus significatives de la recherche dans les domaines de l'économie, du marketing et de la psychologie sociale, que de démonter, à la lumière de nombreux exemples, la complexité des facteurs influençant les choix des individus et de démontrer comment le " design d'expérience " ouvre les portes de dynamiques nouvelles de consommation, porteuses d'avenir.
