Abstract

This article studies the influence of the ageing experience on the adoption of socially responsible consumption behaviors. A quantitative study on 242 over 50 years old Frenches shows generativity, subjective age, and nostalgia positively influence the responsible purchase intention : taking corporate responsibility into consideration, purchasing cause-related products, shopping at small businesses, taking care of the product geographic origin, and reducing one's consumption.
