Abstract

Remote care systems, also called teleassistance services, have developed as a mean for independant living of elderly people in their home. The article analyses how different remote care systems' providers are organized in order to adapt their offering to the elderly people needs and uses. Different forms of proximity that these service providers structure are highlighted and mobilized to understand these evolutions.
