Abstract

Pourquoi certaines entreprises arrivent à commercialiser un flux régulier de nouveaux produits alors que d'autres échouent ? Comment innover dans un contexte de déstabilisation de l'identité des objets ? Quels sont les modes d'organisation adaptés ? Existe-t-il des méthodes pour générer des innovations ? Cet ouvrage, issu d'un mémoire pour l'habilitation à diriger des recherches, contribue à l'étude de ces questions. L'engouement observé depuis maintenant 20 ans pour la gestion de projet, en particulier les projets de conception de nouveaux produits, a en effet conduit à une assimilation hâtive entre management de projet et innovation. A partir d'un travail de terrain conduit dans différents groupes industriels, cet ouvrage interroge cette convergence entre projet et innovation. S'appuyant sur les travaux les plus récents en théorie de la conception et en management de l'innovation, il propose des principes d'organisation et de gestion des projets d'innovation qui sont en charge de l'exploration de nouvelles valeurs d'usages et/ou de nouvelles technologies.
