Abstract

L'hypothèse centrale de cet ouvrage est que la génération, l'accumulation et la distribution des connaissances dans les entreprises sont et vont être réalisées de manière croissante par des communautés de savoir. A partir d'exemples concrets, l'ouvrage montre l'importance croissante de ces groupes informels qui représentent des sources potentielles considérables de valeur et de performance pour les organisations. Toutefois, ces sources de valeur sont souvent cachées ou difficiles à identifier, comme autant de signaux faibles pour ceux qui ont en charge la gestion de l'organisation. Les détecter, faciliter leur développement et capter leur immense potentiel de valeur pour l'organisation sont ainsi autant de défis que vont devoir relever de manière sans cesse croissante les dirigeants d'entreprises.
