Abstract

L'auteur de cet ouvrage, Emmanuel Druon, est un chef d'entreprise dirigeant de l'entreprise Pocheco depuis 1997, un fabricant d'enveloppes à Lille. Il a développé le concept d'Écolonomie. Sans être un « khmer vert » comme il le précise, l'auteur se définit comme « un militant entrepreneur qui aime trop la vie et l'humanité… » (p. 22). Cet ouvrage aborde deux problématiques au coeur de l'actualité, celle de l'organisation des entreprises et du management, et celle de l'écologie. L'auteur montre qu'une autre forme d'organisation et de management est possible, même dans un contexte concurrentiel intense et internationalisé. Plus précisément, le postulat de l'ouvrage est ancré au fait que la croissance à tout prix ne doit pas être un objectif, ni une solution à nos crises ! La croissance comme ressource infinie est remise en cause par un raisonnement simple : le constat de l'épuisement des ressources. Nous devons ainsi repenser nos modèles de développement.
