Abstract

Le baromètre RSE des PME 2012, qui mesure la perception par les PME françaises de la RSE, met en évidence trois postures différentes: ‐ un tiers d'entre elles s'engage dans une démarche de RSE ‐ un second tiers manifeste une conscience nette des enjeux qu'elle implique mais ne traduit pas cette conscience en résultats concrets ‐ le dernier tiers témoigne d'une méconnaissance totale ou partielle de la RSE. Ces résultats s'expliquent par l'existence de nombreux freins à un engagement massif des PME en matière de RSE, notamment le manque de ressources financières et temporelles. En effet, de nombreuses PME se montrent réticentes à l'idée de mettre en oeuvre une démarche de RSE car elles la jugent coûteuse et chronophage. En outre, l'absence de retour sur investissement en la matière pose problème. De nombreux dirigeants de PME ne perçoivent donc aucun intérêt à investir dans la RSE.
