Abstract

L'objectif général du cas est de développer une capacité d'analyse et de synthèse et la compréhension d'une situation complexe et difficile à laquelle se trouve confronté un grand groupe international et légendaire. Il s'agit ici d'étudier Eastman KODAK, entreprise mythique, qui se retrouve en quasi faillite en janvier 2012. Ce cas décrit l'évolution du positionnement de KODAK ainsi que de sa stratégie d'innovation. Il synthétise les facteurs externes et internes qui expliquent cet échec. Il met l'accent sur le concept de " cycle de vie " d'une organisation et les implications pour KODAK. Ce cas est destiné à un large public d'étudiants (Universités, Ecoles de commerce et d'ingénieurs) de niveau master (M1 et M2).
