Réseaux informatiques et développement des téléservices : quelle reconfiguration des entreprises ?

Abstract

L'explication du développement des réseaux informatiques par les déterminants d'une Révolution scientifique et technique ne soulève pas de polémique majeure. Deux étapes doivent être distinguées dans les progrès accomplis depuis le début de la "mutation informationnelle". Au total, elles se traduisent par une quasi-annulation de la "distance informationnelle", facteur à priori favorable au développement des activités de téléservices. Si cette rationalité technico-économique crée les conbditions potentielles de l'expansion des téléservices, cette dernière relève d'une logique plus complexe dont la compréhension est éclairée par les préceptes de la théorie des contrats qui s'appliquent bien aux services en réseaux. En facilitant la médiatisation des relations d'échange et de production de services informationnels, les réseaux s'avèrent être un facteur de reconfiguration des activités en renouvelant à la fois la struture spatiale du Marché et la strucutre saptiale de l'Organisation.
