Le développement « humain » : un mot lourd de sens éthique et politique

Abstract

L'expression « développement humain » apparaît étroitement liée au travail du PNUD. Cette approche rejoint celle d'un courant plus ancien de l'analyse du développement que l'on peut qualifier d'humaniste. Mais les implications actuelles du recours à cette approche sont importantes quant à l'analyse des processus de développement et aux politiques de développement.
