Work-family balance is today a crucial question in France and in Quebec, because of the demographic challenge, challenge of employment (quantity but also quality) and of a new sociopolitic context. New actors emergent indeed on the political scene in the field : companies, trade unions, municipalities, etc. The communication analyzes the place and the role of these " intermediate actors " in the management of the conciliation and clarifies two different forms of " governance " between the two countries.
