Abstract

This paper (forthcoming in The Columbia Anthology of 20th Century French Thought), aims at presenting some important steps in the development of twentieth century French economic thought. More precisely, I suggest the way some nowadays neglected pieces of work can pave the way to fruitful perspectives, especially on the basis of interactions between theory and history.
