L'economie des conventions a l'ecole des institutions

Abstract

Develope depuis le milieu des annees 1980, le programme de recherche de l'Economie des Conventions connait aujourd'hui une tranformation majeure, liee a sa recente rencontre avec les institutions. Cette prise en compte des institutions est allee de paire avec la mise a jour des limites des notions de convention et d'incertitude, se revelant insuffisantes pour explorer sans reductionnisme les mecanismes de la coordination sociale. D'autre part, cette reference aux institutions a permis a l'Economie des Conventions de developper une critique renouvelee de la rationalite standard et de proposer une nouvelle modelisation de l'action individuelle. A la suite de l'inventaire de cette (r)evolution theorique, nous proposons un modele de jeux a institutions qui s'inscrit dans cette nouvelle perspective.
