Plans de campagne et transferts d'argent pour les exploitations familiales: Données probantes du Sénégal

Abstract

Dans l’ensemble, l’étude montre qu’un apport financier unique et important qui cible l’augmentation des investissements agricole peut impacter significativement la production agricole des petits exploitants. Cela diffère d’autres résultats dans la littérature scien-tifique, où les impacts des transferts d’argent sur l’investissement agricole sont plus petits. Il est possible que cette différence entre les résultats provienne du soutien en conseils des animateurs qui ont accompagné le transfert d’argent. Cependant, notre étude a trouvé peu de preuve que le PC seul peut être efficace. Ce résultat suggère que pour les programmes qui cherchent à aider les exploi-tations familiales à passer d’un niveau de subsistance à un niveau de production plus élevé (pour augmenter leurs ventes et reve-nues), les transferts d’argent pourraient être l’élément le plus es-sentiel pour surmonter des contraintes de production.
