Abstract

Speaking at the Joint Virtual Fintech Partnership Symposium, Philadelphia Fed President Patrick Harker stressed the vitally important role community banks play in the economy and noted the risks smaller banks face in adopting new technologies. Hosted by the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia and the Conference of State Bank Supervisors, the event highlighted fintech options for community banks and credit unions.
