Abstract

A new indicator: why and what for?Financing for development involves a combination of many different types of resources: private, public, domestic and international. Proper measurement of these resources is a prerequisite of efficient financing. However, there has been significant expansion in recent years, both in the range of instruments used to mobilise resources and in the scope of the development agenda.
