Abstract

Este documento es el informe de la Comisión de Sanidad del Grupo de Trabajo Mixto Covid-19. El informe revisa la experiencia de España y otros países durante la fase inicial de la actual crisis sanitaria y avanza algunas recomendaciones para mejorar el desempeño de nuestro sistema de salud ante éste y otros retos. Los autores destacan la importancia de reforzar el sistema de salud pública, establecer reservas estratégicas y planes de contingencia para situaciones de emergencia y ponen el acento en la necesidad de dotar a las instituciones sanitarias individuales de mayor autonomía y al conjunto del sistema de salud de una mayor flexibilidad y de mejores instrumentos de gestión, evaluación y planificación.
