Abstract

Esta nota es una breve introducción a las balanzas fiscales y al nuevo Sistema de Cuentas Públicas Territorializadas que las extiende buscando aumentar su utilidad. En ella se explica brevemente qué es una balanza fiscal, cómo se construye y para qué puede servir y se pasa revista a algunos resultados recientes sobre la cuantía y composición de los flujos fiscales interregionales en nuestro país y a sus implicaciones para el debate sobre el reparto territorial de los costes y beneficios del sector público.
