Innovación Tecnológica en Euskadi: El caso de Álava

Abstract

El gasto atribuible a la innovación tecnológica en las empresas de la economía alavesa en el año 2003, ascendió al 5,03% del PIB, algo más de 1 punto porcentual por encima de la cifra para el conjunto de Euskadi. Esta diferencia a favor del territorio de Álava se explica por las cifras de inversión en maquinaria avanzada. El artículo explora esta circunstancia y sus consecuencias para la definición de las políticas dirigidas al fomento del progreso tecnológico.
