Pautas de la inmigración en el mercado de trabajo: comparativa sectorial y espacial en el cambio de ciclo

Abstract

El documento presenta un análisis sectorial de los trabajadores ocupados entre el primer trimestre de 2001 y el primer trimestre de 2009 distinguiendo por género y nacionalidad. El análisis se basa en la información contenida en los microdatos de la Encuesta de Población Activa (EPA). De acuerdo con la información proveniente de la EPA, se observan diferencias y características particulares de género entre España y la Comunidad de Madrid. También se aprecia un comportamiento distinto en la distribución por actividad económica entre trabajadores extranjeros de la UE-15 y aquéllos pertenecientes a otras áreas geográficas, como Sudamérica, África y países europeos fuera de la UE-15 con renta por habitante inferior a la de España.
