Performance of Flagship Programmes in Tamil Nadu

Abstract

This study aims to provide a mid-term appraisal of the Eleventh Five Year Plan (2007-12), focusing on the performance of flagship programmes in Tamil Nadu. In this paper, a brief note on the Eleventh Plan targets and 15 major Centrally Sponsored (flagship) Schemes that have been identified at the central level covering various sectors - rural and urban development, agriculture and water management, education, health, nutrition, drinking water and sanitation, and power.
