Abstract

This study attempts to understand people’s perceptions and their understanding approaching the 2016 assembly elections and how it influenced the voting pattern and behaviour while exercising their right to vote. The study focused on the various alliances, observed continuities and change in the support base of parties during the campaign phase leading to the poll conducted on May 19, 2016. [CPPR].
