Experiencias y factores de éxito en la implementación de sistemas ERP en España y Latinoamérica

Abstract

Este artículo presenta las experiencias de implementación de sistemas integrados de gestión ERP de 91 empresas en España y América Latina. Se presenta el perfil de las empresas, las variables de entorno, las estrategias de implementación y la percepción del impacto de la implementación sobre los resultados de negocio. Los resultados arrojan luz al debate sobre implementaciones basadas en procesos o basadas en funciones. Se observa que las empresas que basan su estrategia competitiva en costes tienden a realizar una implementación orientada a funciones, de manera estándar adecuando el proceso al ERP.
