Presenta una descripción y un análisis de las grandes inflaciones, apoyados principalmente en la experiencia europea de los años veinte. Estudia, a partir de la evidencia histórica, de qué modo se generan las hiperinflaciones, cómo se comportan las economías en una situación de extrema inestabilidad de precios y cómo se produce la estabilización
