Reproducción en la adolescencia en Chile: la desigualdad continúa y urgen políticas activas

Abstract

Considerando la preocupación que despierta la reproducción en la adolescencia, en el presente documento se aprovechan diferentes fuentes disponibles para describir las tendencias de la fecundidad y la maternidad adolescente en Chile; hacer un seguimiento aproximado de sus variables intermedias; estimar, mediante técnicas multivariadas, el peso de factores de riesgo, seleccionados de acuerdo a un marco conceptual ecológico, de la reproducción adolescente, y analizar las políticas y programas recientes dirigidos a este tema, en particular en términos de su pertinencia frente a los factores de riesgos identificados en el examen empírico previo.
