Las políticas de los años noventa para el sistema escolar

Abstract

El estudio aborda los rasgos centrales de las políticas educacionales del gobierno de la transición en Chile (1990-1994) referidas al sistema escolar. Previo la descripción del marco general de las políticas y de los objetivos sectoriales, al análisis releva las políticas de calidad y equidad, distinguiendo los niveles primario y secundario, así como las líneas de acción y programas de inversión convencionales de los innovativos. Al mismo tiempo, se examinan los criterios orientadores de dichas políticas y la relación de los mismos con el cambio en las categorías de pensamiento sobre el papel del Estado en la educación.
