Abstract

El presente informe busca dar cuenta del proceso de construcción conceptual y política de la REDCUDI, sus antecedentes, actores, intereses y valores en juego, la construcción de alianzas, los escenarios de la toma de decisiones y, por último, sus principales resultados. Es evidente que, constituyendo un salto importante en el compromiso histórico del Estado costarricense con el cuidado infantil y, más recientemente, con las mujeres y su activa inserción en la vida laboral, es también un proceso en construcción. De hecho, ambos focos de atención, el cuidado de niñas y niños y el soporte a las mujeres trabajadoras, van a acercar y distanciar en uno u otro momento a los más diversos actores involucrados en el programa REDCUDI en el período 2010-2014 en Costa Rica
