Cambios en la dinámica agropecuaria y agroindustrial del Uruguay y las políticas públicas

Abstract

Este estudio pretende señalar y calificar las valoraciones realizadas por la CEPAL para la evolución de la economía uruguaya y ver en qué medida la dinámica agropecuaria está contribuyendo a un proceso más general de cambio estructural, que reduce las brechas con los países desarrollados y avanza hacia mayores niveles de igualdad social en el medio rural ampliado. Esto comprende no sólo a las familias y habitantes que residen en establecimientos agropecuarios, sino también a los residentes en núcleos urbanos de menos de 5.000 habitantes y que realizan actividades productivas o de servicios relacionadas con la producción agropecuaria.
