El potencial dinamizador del sector exportador costarricense: encadenamientos productivos, valor agregado y empleo

Abstract

El objetivo central de este documento es analizar el potencial dinamizador del sector exportador costarricense, en términos de su capacidad de desarrollar encadenamientos productivos con el resto de los sectores que conforman la economía nacional, generar valor agregado doméstico incorporado en sus exportaciones e inducir empleo de calidad asociado a dichas exportaciones. El principal instrumento para este análisis es la matriz de insumo-producto elaborada por el Banco Central de Costa Rica para 2011.
