Cambio climático, políticas ambientales y regímenes de protección social: Visiones para América Latina

Abstract

En este trabajo se presentan algunas reflexiones sobre la articulación entre cambio climático, crecimiento económico y política social. Algunos de los temas abordados son los efectos de la transición hacia una economía más verde, los efectos distributivos del cambio climático, una visión alternativa del cambio climático como un nuevo tipo de riesgo social estructural, el concepto de vulnerabilidad social y algunas de sus dimensiones que incorporan el mercado laboral, lo demográfico, la salud y la educación, y la necesidad de una “integración” de las políticas que aborden conjuntamente las decisiones ambientales, económicas y sociales.
