Posibilidades y limitaciones de las reformas estructurales

Abstract

La economía española se enfrenta a un conjunto de reformas estructurales, de gran importancia para su capacidad de crecimiento futuro y para la consecución de una sociedad cohesionada e ilusionada con su futuro. Pero esas reformas no son fáciles de diseñar ni de poner en práctica. En este artículo se pasa revista a algunos caracteres de esas reformas, empezando por cómo debe plantearse el debate sobre las mismas, siguiendo por la discusión del marco conceptual en que se deben establecer y discutiendo los argumentos de eficiencia, equidad y conveniencia que las inspiran, para acabar discutiendo algunos aspectos prácticos de su desarrollo.
