    Abstract

    Измерването на нивото и динамиката на макроикономическия потенциал е важен инструмент в моделирането на икономическия растеж. В частност, ефективността на макроикономическата политика, насочена към постигане, задържане или увеличаване темповете на растеж на икономиката, заетостта и доходите, е в тясна зависимост от разликата между текущото ниво на производството и неговата потенциална стойност. Съществуват различни подходи при оценката на макроикономическия потенциал и отклоненията от него, които най-общо могат да бъдат сведени до две групи – чрез използване на чисто статистически техники и посредством инструментариума на агрегираните макроикономически производствени функции. В изследването е направен опит да бъде оценен макроикономическия потенциал и отклоненията от него за периода на преход в страната, като е използвана производствена функция от Коб-Дъгласов тип.
