| Abstract |
This paper presents an analysis of the main variables related to international maritime transport in periods 1965-92 and 1987-99, including a bibliographic revision of some of the main econometric models and the models elaborated by the authors for the period 1973-92. These models present equations regarding international trade, fleet, prices and other related variables, both for dry cargo and oil markets. An abridged English version of this document is presented with other international econometric models, in the book by Guisan and Frias (2003), cited in the bibliography.
