Comportamiento ciclico de la economia española 1973-1997

Abstract

El objetivo de este articulo es detectar las principales regularidades del comportamiento ciclico de las macromagnitudes basicas de la economia española en los años posteriores a la reforma politica, sin la imposicion de restricciones de indole teorica. La metodologia utilizada sigue el trabajo de Kydland y Prescott (1990), y consiste en la concepcion de la componente ciclica de una serie como la desviacion de su tendencia suavizada. La deteccion de regularidades en el comportamiento ciclico de las series se realiza a traves del calculo de varios estadisticos sencillos. Finalmente, se realiza un analisis de sensibilidad para contrastar la dependencia de los resultados obtenidos del procedimiento seguido para eliminar la tendencia.
