Comparacion internacional del gasto publico en sanidad y educacion en paises de la OCDE 85-90

Abstract

En este trabajo trataremos de analizar el nivel del gasto publico en España comparandolo con otros paises europeos y de la OCDE, para ello nos centraremos en dos partidas fundamentales del gasto como son la sanidad y la educacion, ya que estos dos tipos de gasto son fundamentales para el bienestar ciudadano y asi mismo son indicativos del nivel asistencial de cada Estado. Para ello hemos tratado en un primer apartado cual es la situacion actual del gasto en los diferentes paises. Ademas veremos cual es la parte del gasto publico que se destina a educacion y a sanidad en varios paises europeos en los que como podremos comprobar el tamaño del sector publico y en concreto el gasto en estos dos apartados, que difiere considerablemente entre paises. Por ultimo desarrollamos un modelo econometrico que relaciona el gasto en educacion y sanidad con el gasto total del gobierno, para tratar de conocer la respuesta de estos grupos de gasto ante las variaciones del gasto total que realiza cada gobierno. Para ello tomaremos datos de cuatro paises que seran Alemania, Inglaterra, Dinamarca, Italia y España para el periodo 1984 -88.
