Abstract

In this paper we examine the way to adapt the operational performance index to the organisational, decisional and strategic environment of the evaluated entities. The empiric application is realised on a population of 1585 bank branches (the data are from the year 2005). By using a factor analysis we show that there is coherence between the different operational indexes but they are not substitutes in the meaning that each of them corresponds to a managerial context
