La nouvelle architecture de la zone euro. Analyse et perspectives

Abstract

La crise de la zone euro nest pas terminée. Pour réduire le risque de nouvelles tensions, les pays créanciers de la zone euro devraient accepter de renforcer le soutien financier aux pays en difficultés. En parallèle, les pays de la zone euro devraient adopter un pacte de compétitivité pour renforcer la convergence des performances économiques et l'intégration politique au sein de la zone euro. Un pacte édulcoré qui n'aboutirait pas à des réformes au niveau national ne serait pas plus efficace que la Stratégie de Lisbonne. Une union monétaire au sein de laquelle les politiques économiques, fiscales et sociales ne sont décidées qu'au niveau national est un projet qui risque de mal se terminer.
