Abstract

Bien que la croissance de l’économie belge se soit quelque peu tassée durant la seconde partie de 2015, les perspectives de croissance pour 2016 restent favorables. Après plusieurs mois de faiblesse, la confiance des ménages et des entreprises s’est en effet nettement redressée sur la fin de 2015. La dépréciation de la monnaie européenne, la baisse des prix du pétrole et la persistance de conditions monétaires très accommodantes devraient également soutenir l’expansion de l’économie belge en 2016. Par ailleurs, l’économie américaine reste solide et le redressement économique de la zone euro tend à se consolider. En raison du ralentissement de la croissance économique des pays émergents, la croissance de l’économie belge devrait cependant rester modérée (1,5 %) en 2016. L’évolution future de l’activité économique reste également entourée d’une forte incertitude.
