Abstract

L’objectif de la présente étude est d’estimer un système de demande d’inputs énergétiques pour divers secteurs industriels belges et ce faisant, d’illustrer l’importance empirique de fonder la recherché sur la spécification la plus généralisée disponible. Ainsi, à partir d’une version dynamique de la quadratique généralisée, on examinera la pertinence d’un point de vue statistique d’hypothèses plus restrictives, d’une part sur la structure de la fonction de coût [la fonction translog ou la fonction Léontieff généralisée développée par Diewert (1971)] et d’autre part sur la nature des ajustements dynamiques (schéma d’ajustement partiel ou instantané).
